Supporting the Local Community
City Wide Exterminating is more than just a pest control company. We are locals who live and work in the same communities we service, and we are invested in the success of those we work for and alongside. This includes our staff, our customers, our vendors, and our partners in the community.
We take pride in what we do and who we do it for, and we are honored to have the opportunity to serve and give back in more ways than one. Keep reading to see some of the recent efforts we’ve contributed to in the Charlotte metro area.
This scholarship was created in 2022 in memory of Locust’s police chief, Steven Smith. It is open once per year to all graduating high school seniors who meet application guidelines.
West Stanly Christian Ministries supports residents in the community with assistance on an as needed basis. City Wide has hosted an annual food drive to help stock the shelves and match all donations up to $500 every year.
The Charlotte chapter of Team Red, White & Blue exists to help guide veterans through adjusting back to civilian life after they’ve served. They connect veterans through both social and physical support.
Southpark swim team is a recreational swim team for children of all ages five and older. The swim team equips children with competitive swim skills each summer and
The City of Locust police department hosts Shop with a Cop each year around the holidays. Every year, children have the opportunity to shop alongside a cop in our community using funds donated from local businesses in the area.
Wingate University provides both undergraduate and graduate programs to students from all walks of life. With a major focus on service to the community, Wingate emphasizes this importance and seeks to facilitate volunteer opportunities for all students.
