Frank Liske Park also offers outdoor fitness equipment, fishing, paddle boating, horseshoes, volleyball and tennis courts, and soccer and softball fields, plus four miles of walking trails for outdoor enthusiasts of every ilk. Several of these outdoor amenities, including the athletic fields, are lighted so that you can continue with games and activities after dark.
Cast out your fishing line with the purchase of a $1 fishing permit for ages 12 and older. Paddle boating and a round of miniature golf each run $2 per person and are free for kids 5 years old and younger.
Along with all other Frank Liske Park amenities, you’ll enjoy 4 miles of walking trails to take your dogs out for a stroll or go for a morning run. With several pet-friendly amenities – including pet-waste bags and trashcans – you can rest assured that your four-legged friends are also welcome at Frank Liske Park.
If you’re not into outdoor activities, you’ll find plenty of shelters available for picnics and other gatherings. In fact, there is a refurbished dairy barn and silo that is a trendy spot for families to get together.
